There are lots of different ways of playing Football Manager. Some like to take control of a big club and spend big, while others like to start small and build a team up.
Successful FM players always have an eye on the future though, as you can easily have a career in the game spanning decades, by which time today's stars will have already hung up their boots.
Wonderkids are the young players in the game with the highest potential, and we've got the top 20 wonderkids you should sign straight away, according to FM Scout.
Football Manager 2018 is out on November 10, but we already know the best potential players
Managers looking for attacking players are spoiled for choice, as there are many wonderkids
FM Scout uses its own rating system to rank the wonderkids, but the score is based on players having at least a potential ability of 150.
To qualify, the players need to be no older than 20 by the in-game date of July 1, 2017.

There are some recognisable names on the list, particularly the much talked about Kylian Mbappe, who has a massive transfer deal to PSG coming up.
It'll be tough to sign Mbappe in the game without some serious financial investment.
Also on the list is Manchester City's Gabriel Jesus, who has had an excellent start to his Premier League career so far.
Bournemouth's Lewis Cook could be a star of the future, as could Liverpool's Ben Woodburn.
There are a lot of attacking players on the list, and although many of them are listed as wingers, most can play centrally too.
Brazilian 17 year old Vinicius Junior, who currently plays for Flamengo, has the highest potential in the game.
Defensive players aren't quite as highly valued, but there will be a couple of good goalkeepers
In real life, Real Madrid have already secured his services after his 18th birthday for £38 million.
The top defender to look out for is Dutch 17 year old Matthijs de Ligt, who is currently signed to Ajax.
As for goalkeepers, AC Milan's ace young shot stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma could already be on your radar.
If he's too pricey though, you could try Bayern Munich's 17 year old German Christian Fruchtl.
Football Manager is due for release for PC, Mac, and Linux on November 10.
