According to Georgia, who has walked catwalks for the likes of Balmain, Chanel and Victoria's Secret in the past, preparing to walk for the lingerie giant doesn't differ too much from her regular training and diet.

Speaking to Women's Health Australia, the 25-year-old said she tries to keep in shape 'year-round because I'm always doing swimwear'.

However, Georgia did add that she will obviously step up proceedings in the weeks and months before modelling for the lingerie super-brand.

'In New York I have an amazing trainer who does weight training in the gym with me but then I'll mix it up with reformer pilates, yoga, boxing classes,' Georgia explained (pictured)

'In New York I have an amazing trainer who does weight training in the gym with me and I love doing that kind of workout but then I'll mix it up with reformer pilates, yoga, boxing classes, try and do something different all the time [sic],' she told the publication.

Georgia also said she carries resistance bands with her the whole time, so she can whip them out to train her legs and glutes.

Speaking about her day-to-day diet, the top model keeps things similarly simple.

With regards to her diet, Georgia said she likes to keep things relatively simple - 80 per cent fruit and veg, 10 per cent fat and 10 per cent protein

Georgia said she's all about '80 per cent fruit and veg, 10 per cent fat, 10 per cent protein'.

'I say an avo a day, lots of nuts, lots of fish, and then just fruit and veg. I limit dairy and excess carbs basically. No processed food,' she said.

Finally, Georgia said she'll limit alcohol, sugar and even fruit – which contains natural sugars – to limit bloating just before the show.

Georgia Fowler isn't the only VS model who gets serious about her physique in the lead-up to the annual event.

Australian model, Bridget Malcolm – who has also modelled for the lingerie company in the past – recently opened up on her blog about her unusual eating habits.

Bridget confessed she doesn't eat as soon as she gets up, instead favouring two litres of water first thing, protein shakes and meals spaced out by around four hours.

'I always carry cherry tomatoes with me. If I am hungry and food is far away, or flying, or in a non-vegan friendly environment, I make sure I have some tomatoes to eat,' the model wrote.
